The unforgettable Miss Patricia Hardy has passed on, leaving us memories of Coney Island from days gone by, and the Brooklyn of the 1950's.

Her husband, veteran actor Richard Egan, was yet another Hollywood icon whom she met on set in 1956 and married in 1958. Not a bad lookin' fella' if I do say so myself.
Her Big Screen appearances included "Girls in the Night (1953) and Don’t Knock the Rock (1956) and TV gigs included Schlitz Playhouse (in an installment opposite James Dean), The Loretta Young Show, Lassie, Mike Hammer, State Trooper and Perry Mason."

Beautiful, talented AND funny?? What a dame!
Brooklyn misses you already Patricia. RIP.
Here's to riding that big "Cyclone" in the sky!
What a fantastic tribute to a wonderful woman. She was not only accomplished professionally, but she managed to raise four beautiful daughters and a son - who are kind, loving and accomplished.
ReplyDeleteShe was a mother to all of us who were friends with her kids. She was kind and she was funny and she LOVED her Pepsi :). She remained absolutely beautiful up until the end, with such style and grace. I will miss Mrs. Egan terribly and hold close all the wonderful memories I have of growing up with her in my life!

ReplyDeleteShe seems like she was such an incredible inspiration. I'm very sorry for your loss, but also extremely happy that you had the incredible opportunity to connect with such a beautiful spirit. :)
